At Bay City Lakers, we believe in providing an opportunity for basketball enthusiasts to turn their passion into something more.
Our fees are calculated to cover the cost involved in supporting the teams to train and play.
Basketball Victoria Annual Participant Licence
Players are charged for a 365-day licence that covers them for the entirety of the season they are registering to. This 365-day Basketball Victoria licence (affiliation) covers anyone wanting to participate in a Basketball Victoria sanctioned competition, allowing a participant to play as many times as they like within 365-days across any affiliated association in Victoria. Basketball Victoria provides a base level of insurance to all registered participants of affiliated associations. Insurance is provided by V-Insurance Group. Associations and clubs may charge their own fees for administration.
Basketball Australia Game Development Levy
Players are charged for a 365-day membership that covers them for the entirety of the season they are registering for. The Game Development Levy is being implemented by Basketball Australia to support the growth and development of basketball at all levels of the game and to enhance opportunities for the sport.
